Mechanical Assembler
Pay:$18/hour
Shift/Hours:MondayFriday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Location:Pryor OK
Job Type:Temp to Hire
We are seeking a skilledMechanical Assemblerto join a growing team in Pryor OK. In this role you will be responsible for assembling mechanical parts and subassemblies based on blueprints and production specifications.
Note:All candidates must complete a tape measure and mechanical assessment prior to placement. Please visit a Stand-By Personnel office to complete this step.
Key Responsibilities
- Review blueprints parts lists and assembly instructions to prepare work orders.
- Assemble fabricated metal parts into large or heavy subassemblies and final products.
- Utilize hand tools power tools and machines for drilling pressing and fastening.
- Perform on-line quality inspections and calibrate parts to meet tolerance and product specifications.
- Conduct functional testing of assemblies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in basic math: addition subtraction multiplication division fractions and decimals.
- Must frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs; occasionally more.
- Must own or be able to obtain a basic set of hand tools.
- Previous mechanical assembly experience preferred.
