We are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Technician to join our growing team at a leading plastic injection molding facility in Prentiss County MS. In this hands-on role you ll play a key part in machine startups mold changes and maintaining optimal production performance. Perform startups and shutdowns of injection molding machines using precise process parameters
Install remove clean and maintain molds as needed
Set up and operate auxiliary equipment such as chillers dryers thermolators and material loaders
Monitor production processes to ensure high quality safety and efficiency standards are met (including 6S practices)
Troubleshoot machine or process issues and implement effective solutions
Identify and correct product defects such as color inconsistencies blemishes cracks and surface flaws
Work closely with supervisors and production staff to meet daily production goals
Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in equipment inspections
Maintain accurate production records and communicate updates clearly
3 5 years of experience in plastic injection molding or a related manufacturing role (required)
High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical certification or degree is a plus
Strong understanding of injection molding machines thermoplastics and production processes
Basic understanding of robotics and willingness to learn programming
Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Must be physically capable of bending lifting up to 100 lbs and standing for long periods (up to 12 hours)
Forklift experience is preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Day shift (Monday Friday)
8-to 10-hourshifts
Some overtime may be required
Competitive hourly pay: $20.00 $30.00/hour based on experience
Weekly hours: 40 50 hours
Must be able to reliably commute to Prentiss County MS
