Job Description
We are hiring a Refrigeration Technician. This role performs repairs and diagnostics on-site and off-sites (50%/50%) on starting and charging systems cooling and re-charge and electrical including common fault codes. Repairs include: performing leak detection procedures compressor replacements soldering refrigerant lines evaporator/condenser replacements and front & rear main engine seal replacements. We require 4 plus years experience working on Reefer and A/C units. Main duties will be troubleshooting diagnosing and repairing components on refrigeration units. If you have experience or completed training on Cold Plate units is a plus.
What you will do:
- Diagnose repair install and perform maintenance procedures with efficiency and high-quality standards
- Maintain current knowledge of products including any developments and service
- Adhere to company standards policies and procedures
- Comply with all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping
- Properly complete required paperwork
- Maintain good attendance
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required

- Carrier
- Daikin
- ThermoKing
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 3-year mechanical transport refrigeration and/or electrical systems repair and diagnostic experience.
- Must have a valid driver s license (CDL A Preferred)
- Must have an acceptable driving record if driving under the company s insurance policy
- Must be willing to take a drug test when require.
- Must have ability to work overtime and on-call as position may require
- Must be willing to travel up to 400 miles a day; once or twice to LA; occasionally monthly travel to Portland.
- Must have basic computer skills and knowledge
- Must have a complete set of quality hand tools
- Must be able to stand kneel and crouch for long periods climb ladders and lift in excess of 50 pounds either with or without reasonable accommodation
- Graduation from general or technical high school and/or Associate or Technical degreePreferred.
- Possession of Universal EPA Refrigeration Certificate License.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Communicate well with customers and coworkers.
- Open to learn refrigeration service maintenance and installation.
- Ownership self-starter who embraces full accountability.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
