Job Description
- Perform welding tasks in a safe efficient and precise manner.
- Work with a variety of materials including steel stainless steel and aluminum.
- Utilize MIG TIG and Stick welding processes.
- Interpret and follow blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time.
Requirements
- You must pass applicable welding qualification tests.
- You must be able to pass a drug and background screening
- You must be able to lift and carry objects and materials weighing up to 75 pounds with frequent lifting and carrying of objects and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- You must rate information using standards that can be measured or checked.
- You must work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
- You must look at flat drawings pictures and blueprints and visualize how they would look as solid objects with height width and depth.
- You must see well (either naturally or with correction).
- You must stand for long periods.
- You must stoop kneel crouch and crawl to reach hard-to-reach work areas.
- You must see detail in objects or drawings and recognize slight differences in shapes or shadings.
- You must work easily and skillfully with your hands.
- You must perform other duties as may be required by field supervision.
