Job Description
In this position you will leverage your expertise to help organizations transform complex unstructured data into valuable business insights. You will architect build and oversee comprehensive data solutions that are robust scalable and tailored to meet evolving business needs. A strong background in Snowflake is essential for maximizing the efficiency performance and cost-effectiveness of cloud-based data environments.
Develop and deploy comprehensive data architectures guiding projects from initial concept through implementation.
Define and implement enterprise data strategies including architecture and governance models.
Lead data migration and integration initiatives utilizing technologies such as Snowpipe Streams and Tasks.
Partner with analytics teams to enable advanced analytics and AI/ML workloads using tools like Snowpark and Python.
Design and enhance cloud-based data platforms across AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
Serve as a strategic advisor conducting client workshops and sharing expertise on current data architecture practices.
Optimize system performance and manage costs across cloud data deployments.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years in data architecture or engineering with significant hands-on experience in Snowflake including schema development performance optimization secure data sharing cost management and full-cycle deployment.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve Snowflake performance issues manage virtual warehouses apply clustering keys and implement best practices for scaling.
In-depth understanding of cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
Experience with data modeling integration and governance.
Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Microstrategy Tableau or Power BI.
Strong communication and presentation abilities with a talent for conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Snowflake certifications (e.g. SnowPro) or equivalent credentials.
Certifications in cloud architecture for AWS Azure or GCP.
Enthusiasm for mentoring and empowering clients to make informed data-driven decisions.
Awareness of new trends in data architecture including data mesh event-driven systems and real-time analytics.
