MedVet is thrilled to announce their newest location in Scottsdale Arizona. MedVet is the nations premierveterinary-owned and ledorganization where all caregivers have the support of veterinary leadership committed to medical excellence and continuous improvement of resources. MedVet Phoenix will be nestled between the Joshua Tree and Hayden Park neighborhoods of Scottsdale.
What youll do:
- Assist in patient procedures such as: echocardiography thoracentesis pericardiocentesis and multiple types of interventional cardiology procedures.
- Manage appointments obtain histories medical record keeping invoicing patient discharges etc. as well as organize and manage daily service flow
- Intravenous catheter placement obtaining blood pressures and ECGs.
- Client education on the many different cardiology disease processes
- Drive the MedVet Experience and ensure our patients receive the highest quality care
- Inspire teach multitask and be a highly functional team member
- Ensure documentation is accurate and complete
- State Registered Veterinary Technician license preferred
- Prior veterinary experience required cardiology experience desired
- Proficient in calculations (drugs constant rate infusions unit conversions etc.)
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
