Overview

Presbyterian is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Real Estate department that is responsible for coordination and quality assurance of facilities design and construction services provided by Real Estate Department. Responsibility for overseeing large and /or complex property and facility development projects. Supervise Real Estate Department support functions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in business health care related field or construction/interior design Masters degree preferred
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years experience in healthcare management or project management.
  • Project management in construction or healthcare related fields preferred.

Education Essential:Bachelor Degree

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and coordinate PHS Property and Facility development projects managing 10-20 capital projects annually with budgets totaling $20-60 million annually.
  • Manages large complex strategic projects utilizing multiple interdepartmental resources on time and within budget.
  • Coordinates all space programming within PHS facilities including departments moving renting equipping new office space and facilitating senior leaders needs in these endeavors
  • *Manages non-PHS professionals including architects engineers and construction contractors equipment venders etc.
  • Oversees design and contract standards for PHS signage furniture various equipment.
  • Coordinates and communicates among Executive Sponsors Steering Committee Project Team and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiates contracts with Architects and other designers and Construction Contractors.
  • Communicates the Real Estate Development team process to better communicate realistic project goals and acts as the liaison between the internal user/department and the external architect engineer contractor.
  • Primary responsibility for all aspects of hospital development projects including but not limited to:
  • Assure all projects comply with PHS purchasing standards and safety policies
  • Manage Project Manager position
  • Coordinate all work with PHS Facilities Services Department
  • Assure projects meet budget and schedule targets
  • Assure projects meet Interim Life Safety Requirements
