Job Description
Civil Designer (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.; Minneapolis MN):Perform civil design technical tasks including data analysis and calculations to analyze and design civil system components under the supervision of a Project Manager/Project Engineer. Research interpret and verify compliance with applicable design codes and engineering standards. Participate in AutoCAD Civil3D drafting of parking layouts ADA accessible sidewalks and routes and other site-specific amenities for private development projects. Support design of utilities stormwater grading erosion control and its specifications. Support multi-disciplinary coordination on projects and permitting. Perform field work and construction observation.40 hours per week M-F (9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.). Salary range is $75100 - $108900 per in this position may be paid a discretionary bonus. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education qualifications experience & work location. #LI-DNI #GTM
Qualifications
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field and 2 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience must have 2 years of experience with the following: Interpreting sketches drawings building programs and applying design codes; AutoCAD Civil 3D; HyrdroCAD stormwater modeling; Pipe networks for utility modeling and design; and Grading and earthwork analyses and design.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week depending on business need.
