Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Conduct research on steel and related industry companies and analyze specific data to understand developments in relevant industries (Steel Lithium Auto Energy etc.)
- Help in conducting background research for outreach and assisting to manage project-related correspondence in a timely manner
- Maintain a database of steel supply and consumption pricing and macro industry drivers
- Assist in the development of diversification and expansion strategy including evaluation of M&A opportunities. Traveling may be needed for certain projects.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from managers and from corporate headquarters for information on local markets
- Assist in writing and presenting industry reports and corporate development plans for top executives
- Produce reports on current events and provide coverage of quarterly earnings of various companies
Salary: $60000 (DOE)
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting Economics Engineering or related field
- Excellent business communication skill
- Fluent in both Korean and English
- Available to travel as needed (1020 days of business trips per year)
- Expert in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel
- Research M&A finance experience is a plus
