Job Description

Due to significant growth at Paradigm Housing Group including the recent acquisition of a large number of properties we are excited to announce three additional fixed-term contract opportunities for Multiskilled Void Repairs Specialists to join our expanding Voids team.

Are you a highly skilled professional with expertise in multiple trades and a passion for maintaining high-quality homes Join us and play a key role in ensuring our properties are safe secure and ready for tenants.

This role covers a wide area including Buckinghamshire Bedfordshire Berkshire Cambridgeshire Hertfordshire Oxfordshire and the surrounding regions. Our two office bases are in High Wycombe (Head Office) and Chesham (Stores Room/Secondary Office).

About the Role

As a Multiskilled Void Repairs Technician/Specialist you will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance in void properties applying technical expertise in three or more trades to deliver high-quality results. You will play a vital role in minimising void rent loss by adhering to void standards ensuring properties are free from hazards and completing works efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all general maintenance works in void properties ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and Paradigms procedures.
  • Achieve first-time fixes wherever possible and complete repairs within target response times.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants and staff providing excellent customer care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports on all completed work.
  • Manage tools materials and vehicle stock efficiently minimising waste.

What Were Looking For

To succeed in this role youll need:

  • Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in multiple trades or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in maintenance and repair work across multiple trades.
  • Knowledge of construction building regulations and health & safety standards.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Strong time-management and communication skills with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.


Where could this role take you

Whilst this is not currently a permanent role in a business our size and with the transformation we are going through there is a possibility that this could either be extended made permanent or other opportunities may arise. Many of our talented colleagues started at Paradigm as temporary/interim and have gone on to forge successful careers with us. However if something longer-term doesnt materialise you will still gain valuable experience which will add to your employability in this and similar fields.
