What is the opportunity

As a Manager in GRM IT and Data Strategy team you will play an integral role in supporting GRMs IT Planning and Governance enhancing the maturity of GRMs data management as well as participating in the delivery of major regulatory and transformational projects.

What will you do

  • Key player in annual IT planning cycle and ongoing IT governance including run rate analysis re-forecast and change management
  • Analyze business cases to bring transparency on business driver priority benefit cost and impact across the enterprise
  • Create presentation materials to support IT and Data Governance update to senior management
  • Support the identification of Critical Business Processes and Data Elements
  • Support 1st LoD players in fulfilling data policy requirements including but not limited to documenting transformation rules managing Critical Data Elements managing and reporting data issues
  • Work closely with GFT Architects to document GRM priorities in each risk areas and create technology roadmaps to support the implementation of the priorities
  • Work in large program setting to support creation of business cases including projects scope objectives budget schedule and risk assessment

What do you need to succeed

Must-have

  • Strong analytical and communication skills feel comfortable in explaining complex business processes and pain points to senior management
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and risk management concepts and procedures.
  • Solid experience in financial services and risk management including finance and risk data data quality principles data control design data management business analysis SOX principles.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data analysis methods and the ability to analyze and resolve complex data related issues
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis using tools such as SQL Excel Hive

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with business and/or technical documentation and the assessment of existing processes and systems.
  • Familiarity with financial service regulatory requirements and guidelines (e.g. IFRS 9 CECL) and data management regulations (e.g. BCBS 239)
