About the roles
The City of Coffs Harbour is excited to announce two fantastic opportunities in our Asset Services Section: Lead Engineering Designer and Senior Engineering Designer.
Lead Engineering Designer:
In this role you will be responsible for leading the use of civil engineering design software streamlining design processes through customisation and automation mentoring junior designers ensuring adherence to quality standards and collaborating with project managers to deliver successful outcomes for various infrastructure projects.
Senior Engineering Designer:
Undertake the detailed design and development of crucial civil engineering projects while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Collaborate with stakeholders manage timelines and enhance community spaces in a dynamic team environment. Bring your passion for civil engineering and shared vision for creating a vibrant community!

About you
Both roles require a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field significant experience in detailed civil engineering designs proficiency in 12d Model computer-aided design software and BricsCAD or AutoCAD drafting software and the ability to apply engineering principles effectively.
In addition the Lead Engineering Designer requires demonstrated experience in the usage of the advanced features and customisation of the software nominated above.
Whats on offer
- Lead Engineering Designer: $109K - $120K 3.5% CLA 12% superannuation
- Senior Engineering Designer: $99K - $107K 3.5% CLA 12% superannuation
- Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week
