What does a successful Director Program Management do at Fiserv

Our Director of Program Management plays a crucial role in driving complex and high-priority projects as well as components of larger programs. This individual will be accountable for ensuring that projects are delivered on time within budget and within defined scope. They will lead and coordinate teams across a matrixed organization overseeing all aspects of a project from initiation to closure. Engaging with various business units including product owners and technical team members the Director of Program Management exemplifies strong initiative and outstanding management skills.

What you will do:

  • Own and drive multiple high-impact technical programs ensuring on-time delivery of platform enhancements infrastructure upgrades and engineering initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to agile best practices as needed will lead scrum ceremonies sprint planning backlog grooming to ensure engineering teams deliver efficiently.
  • Bridge engineering product and multiple client business and technical teams ensuring alignment on priorities and dependencies.
  • Identify and mitigate technical and operations risks.
  • Regularly report and present risk progress metrics financials and updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee third-party relationships ensuring vendors meet SLAs and align with long-term strategy.
  • Holds stakeholders accountable for commitments.
  • Responsible for the managing project includes understanding and validating estimates cost variance tracking and managing project resources effectively.

What you will need to have:

  • 10 years of large program management experience.
  • Experience providing communications counsel to business executives and proven ability to present at the executive level.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education work and/or military experience.

What would be great to have:

  • Proficient in MS Project and Azure/Jira.
  • Experience working within a large government environment.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to offer options and recommendations for resolving issues mitigating risks and addressing escalated matters.
  • Proven experience in communicating with responding to and managing stakeholders.

Important info about this role:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time and work weekends/evenings as necessary.
  • In order to be considered you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship now or in the future.
  • This is a full-time direct-hire position and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.

Salary Range

$129400.00 - $217900.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Companys sole discretion.
