Job Summary:The School of Social Work is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach Sociology courses in particular the fall semester SOCI 125 Introduction to Sociology course; this course is offered on our campus in person. We are looking for a dedicated dependable Christian individual who loves students and loves teaching and preferably has some teaching experience.
Job Duties:
Instruct students in the course
Perform duties associated with instructing and assessing student progress in a timely manner including grading required record keeping based on university guidelines timely communication and conferencing
Use strong organizational and time management skills to teach well-prepared classes
Mentor and nurture students with a compassionate Christlike spirit for the purpose of supporting and encouraging them academically and spiritually.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Sociology.
Salary Schedule: Salary is based upon a per course fee as determined by the University. No benefits are offered for this position.
