About the Role

The Breast Screen radiologists are responsible for providing screen reading consensus reading assessment and quality review of assessment cases for St Vincents BreastScreen program.

They provide an integral discipline within the BreastScreen multidisciplinary team which also encompasses surgery pathology radiography counselling and nursing.

About the Breastscreen Department

St Vincents BreastScreen aims to reduce the morbidity and mortality due to breast cancer through the early detection of the disease. The program adheres to the values of St Vincents Health Australia which reflect the mission of BreastScreen Victoria to strive for excellence collaboration access acceptability and improvements in detection and treatment of breast cancer.
