You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailMuller Engineering Company is seeking an enthusiastic graphic designer to support both our marketing group and technical teams with page layout and graphic design. As a member of the marketing group you will be responsible for:
Creating custom templates layouts and graphics to support proposals and a variety of other marketing materials and documents
Developing custom graphics to support project teams including reports project newsletters and public meeting graphics
Creating PowerPoint templates and graphics to support client presentations
Taking ownership of the layout and design process seeing projects through from initial concept until completion
The ideal candidate has strong typographic knowledge and can demonstrate experience in creative collaboration marketing products and services and graphic communications. Layout design for technical reports public information meeting graphics proposals brochures staff resumes social media postings and other types of general marketing documents is essential.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or associate degree in graphic design fine arts or related field
0-5 years of graphic design experience (internship experience welcome)
Excited and motivated candidate with excellent graphic communication skills who is organized engaged and results oriented
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop) Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and other basic organizational software is required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organization
Comfortable working on multiple tasks with shifting deadlines and priorities
Team-oriented and able to follow direction while collaborating with others.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Willingness to receive and incorporate feedback
Ability to communicate complicated technical information in a simplified graphical format
Preferred Skills
Basic rich media software (After Effects) experience is desirable.
Basic website editing knowledge is desirable.
Basic understanding of accessible design principles (e.g. Section 508 compliance WCAG standards) with the ability to incorporate accessibility best practices into digital and print materials
Familiarity with AI tools and/or the interest in learning to use the tools to find efficiencies in job functions.
Experience or interest in the architecture engineering or construction industries.
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: $55k to $70k annually (dependent on qualifications and experience).
