Position Overview
LVPG OB/GYN is an enterprise of multiple practices across several counties in southeastern Pennsylvania that serves womens preventive gynecological and obstetric needs. Inpatient care is conducted at 2 Family Birth and Newborn Centers Cedar Crest (Allentown) and Muhlenberg (Bethlehem) hospital sites and 2 primary surgical locations at Muhlenberg and 17thStreet (Allentown) campuses.
The OB/GYN team of physicians APC midwives supported by operations and clinical leadership work together for the benefit of our patients and colleagues. There are additional opportunities for professional engagement in clinical committees teaching and administrative roles.
Position Overview
- Full time position in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
- Location: 1405 N. Cedar Crest Allentown
- Outpatient opportunity with OR (includes robotics)
- Call coverage required (generally from home answering calls/pages)
In an obstetrics and gynecology career with LVHN you will experience:
- Over 30 service sites for obstetrics and gynecology in 11 counties serving womens preventive gynecologic and obstetrics needs.
- FiveFamily Birth and Newborn Centersthroughout the region provide maternity care.
- Additional locations provide gynecologic surgical care for women using traditional and advanced minimally invasive techniques.
- Multiple locations give physicians and APCs the option to choose the setting in which they practice.
- Intimate and familiar patient settings or busy bustling practices
- Community-based programs or academic tertiary referral hospitals
- Collaborate with a team of physicians nurse practitioners physician assistants and nurse midwives dedicated to providing exceptional care.
- Ability to teach and train students and residents at some locations.

Qualifications
- Urogynecology/FPMRS experience preferred
- Characteristics: listening and communication skills compassion/empathy teamwork willingness to learn flexibility
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Licensed in Pennsylvania
