Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

  • Preparation of the Companys periodic SEC filings (10-Q 10-K 8-K proxy statement) including preparation and review of cash flows statement of stockholders equity and footnotes to the financial statements with related supporting documentation
  • Ensure XBRL tagging is complete and accurate
  • Review external communications including but not limited to earnings releases prepared remarks and investor presentations to ensure consistency with previously filed financial information
  • Accounting for and administration of the Companys equity compensation plans including performing analysis on executive compensation as requested by the compensation committee.
  • Conduct technical research on US GAAP and SEC Interpretive Releases and assist in assessing impact on the Company.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and participate in implementation of new accounting standards
  • Assist with compiling and reviewing of revenue related data to ensure compliance with ASC 606 disclosures and controls
  • Assist with the collection of lease-related data and compliance with ASC 842 including disclosures and controls.
  • Assisting in preparation of models analysis and due diligence (as necessary) related to annual impairment evaluations and/or potential acquisitions
  • Participate and actively own elements of Sarbanes-Oxley process particularly coordination with process owners
  • Assist with the Companys Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) program including ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements collection of and controls over relevant data and reporting of such data.
  • Assisting in preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Assist with month-end close and consolidation processes
  • Assist with documentation preparation for both internal and external audit requests
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis in support of finance department initiatives
  • Participate in special projects at the direction of management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree is required CPA is required
  • 4 years experience of public accounting (Big 4 or large national/regional CPA firm) and/or direct experience in financial reporting role with a publicly traded company
  • Fluent in US GAAP US GAAS and SEC reporting guidelines
  • Strong degree of problem-solving abilities interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written with ability to interact with senior management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required including Vlookup and Pivot Tables
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Sarbanes-Oxley experience
  • Experience and knowledge of Workiva WebFilings; E-trade; Blackline a plus
