Position Summary:
The Maintenance Techician I-2nd Shift position performs a variety of maintenance activities within the office and manufacturing environment as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Performs repairs in accordance with Safety and OSHA. (Occupational and Safety Health Act) requirements
- Accurately complete and document work orders promptly in CMMS to maintain high-quality standards
- Performs non-technical maintenance of plumbing systems to include standard repair of leaking fixtures cleaning obstructed waste lines installing water coolers
- Performs carpentry maintenance tasks including routine painting of interior and exterior finishes stripping floors installing signage and assembling furniture and racking storge systems.
- Installs new or purchased equipment
- Supplies proper information for the acquisition of replacement parts
- Troubleshoots and repairs stationary and mobile equipment
- Trains and participates in the Emergency Evacuation Plan
- Coordinates and schedules maintenance activities with department managers
- Participates in continuous improvement projects
- Coordinates and assists in inspections of critical building systems and environmental compliance
- Calibrates testing instruments
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- Maintain a clean sanitary and safe work area including maintenance shop
- On call for emergency repairs in breakdown situations as necessary
- Performs snow removal as required
- Carries out all other dusties as assianed by Management
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required
- 1 year facility maintenance or manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of building systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems (preferred)
Pay Rate*: $15.00-$22.00/hour
*The salary offered to a candidate isbased on several factors includingbut not limited tothecandidates skills job-related knowledge and relevant experience as well as internal pay equity
