The Role
As Partnerships Lead you will play a pivotal role in helping Orange Sky grow our impact by strengthening relationships with our valued corporate partners. Focused on retention uplift and connection this role is all about deepening partnerships identifying and securing growth opportunities and delivering experiences that reflect Orange Skys values and mission. You will report to the Partnerships Manager youll lead the development and delivery of our retention strategy shaping meaningful and engaging journeys for our partners from personalised communications and thoughtful recognition to opportunities that connect them with our mission in a real and powerful way.
As a key member of Partnerships Team this role will positively contribute to raising the profile of our brand building strong visibility and connection within the corporate sector.
A day in the life of a Partnerships Lead
Strategic Relationship Management
- Manage and grow a portfolio of retained partners and value-in-kind partnerships; securing long-term and increased support.
- Lead on the development of partnership proposals pitches and tailored value propositions that bring our mission to life.
- Identify and promote tailored campaign branding and engagement opportunities across key accounts to deepen impact and unlock mutual value
Campaign and Program Delivery
- Proactively promote opportunities for partners to engage in new or upcoming initiatives including local and national campaigns community events and paid staff engagement experiences.
- Oversee the delivery of agreed partnership benefits activations and campaigns.
- Track report and forecast partnership performance using Salesforce and other performance tracking tools.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Provide guidance to the Fundraising Coordinator whilst also contributing to a strong and connected fundraising and partnerships team culture.
- Support cross-team collaboration to co-create compelling engagement opportunities and ensure seamless execution across functions
- Role model Orange Skys values and contribute positively to our team culture.
Strategic Thinking & Growth
- Identify and pursue opportunities for growth across the partnership portfolio such as deepening existing commitments; identifying new avenues for support; contributing to the development of our value proposition and bringing a lens of continuous improvement.
- Develop retention uplift/upgrade strategies leveraging one to one connections; events digital tools internal networks/memberships and external platforms.
- Proactively act as a connector; integrating and introducing partners to our Orange Sky Crew to make them feel connected and part of our community.
What will set you up for Success
- Min 3-5 years experience in a similar partnership business development or account management role.
- A natural communicator and relationship builder confident presenting to and engaging a variety of stakeholders.
- Strategic and data-savvy able to analyse plan and act on opportunities for growth.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A real team player ready to support and lead within a values driven environment
- Familiar with Google Workspace; Microsoft 365 CRM systems and project management tools.
- Current full Drivers License.
