Job Description

Manage the hardware including servers PCs projectors and networking hardware in labs at the CyberAcademy currently housed at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center the Columbus campus the Franklin Campus and at Columbus Signature Academy as needed
Manage the 4 labs across three counties
Manage the printers and assist students in the Visual Communications print lab
Provide student support during open lab hours and assist instructor during classes
Provide technical and user support and guidance in a positive and cooperative manner exhibiting friendly professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Follow regular equipment maintenance schedules and follow preventative measures as instructed to reduce downtime
Assist in moving equipment as assigned
Maintain process documentation for all labs

Hiring Range:

  • $17.00 per hour

For more information on Ivy Tech Benefits visit or higher in a computer-related field. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be a self-starter and willing to learn on the fly.

  • May substitute equivalent experience and or certifications for degree. Must be proficient with current hardware and software technology. Professional experience preferred. Knowledge of SmartDeploy a plus. Knowledge of MacOS and printers a plus.
  • Any of the following certifications preferred: A Network CCNA Security Microsoft Server certifications.

    Copies of transcripts and certifications will be required at time of interview. Original transcripts will be required at time of hire.
