Position Summary

The EVP of Clinical Services will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services. Reporting directly to the President and/or Chief Strategy Officer EVP of Clinical Services will be responsible for developing clinical strategies formalizing implementing and monitoring the clinical oversight program maintaining compliance with workplace behavioral health regulations and driving continuous improvement in clinical practices. A key focus will be on developing and managing data-informed clinical oversight practices to enhance outcomes satisfaction and ROI.


Essential Functions:

  • Clinical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for all clinical operations and services.
  • Data-Informed Clinical Oversight & Continuous Improvement: Develop and manage data-informed clinical oversight practices to drive continuous improvement and enhance outcomes at multiple levels: 1) service lines 2) overall network 3) service-specific panels 4) individual network providers.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of care through rigorous quality assurance programs for all service lines.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate clinical effectiveness and efficiency at multiple levels: 1) service lines 2) overall network 3) service-specific panels 4) individual network providers.
  • Team Management: Lead mentor and support clinical team members to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Clinical Strategy: Develop and implement clinical strategies that align with the companys mission and goals.
  • Research & Development: Drive research and development in clinical practices services and service delivery to enhance outcomes operational efficiency and innovation.


Team/Employee Management Essential Functions

  • Hire train direct assist and mentor department staff/team.
  • Coordinate the schedule for coverage of the department.
  • Monitor and prioritize department workflow to ensure accurate thorough and timely completion of tasks.
  • Identify needs and conduct training for new and existing team members to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Build and maintain a collaborative environment by emphasizing teamwork with team and colleagues.
  • Develop and meet quarterly and yearly department goals.
  • Create and distribute department communications as needed.
  • Monitor employee performance and address issues as warranted.
  • Complete performance reviews for employees on a timely basis.

Secondary Functions

  • Travel as required.
  • Participate in department and company meetings as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Recipient Satisfaction: Measure feedback and satisfaction scores to ensure high-quality care and service delivery.
  • Clinical Outcomes: Monitor the effectiveness of clinical interventions and treatment plans through recipient progress and recovery rates.
  • Service Utilization: Track the utilization rates of various clinical services to optimize resource allocation and identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality Assurance Metrics: Evaluate the adherence to quality assurance protocols and the incidence of clinical errors or adverse events.
  • Provider Performance: Assess the productivity and effectiveness of clinical providers including caseload management and documentation efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor compliance with workplace behavioral health regulations and standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor the progress of continuous improvement initiatives and their impact on clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Innovation Implementation: Track the development and implementation of innovative clinical practices and service delivery models.
Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Clinical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of behavioral health clinical practices and standards.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire motivate and mentor clinical teams.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of workplace behavioral healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term clinical strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal written communication and public speaking skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive clinical decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
  • Research & Development: Ability to research develop and drive innovation both enhancing existing competencies and informing development of new services.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education & Licensing

  • A minimum of Masters degree in Psychology Nursing Social Work or a related field is required.
  • Current clinical licensure as a Psychologist Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or similar is required.
  • Additional certifications in behavioral health or clinical management are preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical leadership roles required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical leadership roles preferred within the workplace behavioral health industry preferred.
  • Proven track record of overseeing clinical operations and driving quality improvement required.
  • Experience in developing and managing data-informed clinical oversight practices required.
  • Experience in a senior leadership role with direct reports required.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing clinical strategies required.
  • Experience in developing and managing clinical thought leadership and publishing influential research required.


Physical Work Requirements

Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise dust etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment available.


The starting pay range for this position is $00 per year. The positions pay range represents the national average pay for similar roles. R3 considers factors such as (but not limited to) experience internal pay equity and other business considerations when extending an offer.
