Veterinary Assistant - South Corona Pet Hospital!

The hourly rate for this position is $17.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience education licensure and certifications.
Join our incredible team atSouth Corona Pet Hospitalas the next great step in your career. We are looking to add aVeterinary Assistantto our team who can work part-time with flexible availability and work weekends.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated detail-oriented team player who loves animals and is part of a fun supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients a willingness to learn and expand their career knowledge of equipment used drawing blood and running bloodwork knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning experience with proper animal handling and restraint understanding the importance of client education and being a positive and supportive team member.
South Corona Pet Hospital aims to provide owners with sound honest choices for their pets and to provide our patients with excellent quality medicine and compassionate medical care. We strive to provide our customers with the best personalized service possible and to foster a friendly professional work environment for our exceptional staff.

Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT RVT or LVT) preferred or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not .
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with exams treatments and surgical procedures.
Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean organized work environment.
