Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and resolve challenging issues in a variety of software applications
- Assist with system configuration deployments and control processes
- Interact with other software developers and teams across a multidisciplinary set of software development efforts
- Develop software for both front end and back end systems
Requirements
- Experience in back end software application development and server deployment; including MongoDB Kafka Spring Boot etc.
- Willingness to quickly pick up new technologies
- Experience in modern technologies such as RESTful Services Docker Kubernetes and Git
- Expert knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java or C# with focus on object-oriented methodologies
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science Computer Engineering or other software development-related degree; 5 years of experience
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Junit and Mockito
- Experience with cloud based deployments
Work Environment:
- Location: Beavercreek OH or Colorado Springs CO
- Working hours: Standard
- Travel Requirements: Some (up to 15%)
- Clearance: Must be eligible for DoD Clearance current Secret preferred
Basic Compensation:
$100-140k (Rate applicable for Colorado Springs CO only)
- The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge skills abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
- KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus relocation benefits short term incentives long term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
