WeatherBarr Windows and Doors of Springdale AR is looking to hire a full-time Window Repair Technician.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Window Repair Technician to join our team. This role involves traveling to residential and commercial sites to install repair and maintain windows and related components. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and problem-solving skills proficient with hand tools and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. There will also be occasional delivery work involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install new windows frames and glass in homes and commercial buildings.
- Diagnose and repair issues with existing window systems including seals locks and tracks.
- Measure and prepare openings for window installation.
- Remove old or damaged windows safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all installations meet building codes and safety standards.
- Communicate with customers to explain work performed and provide maintenance tips.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed materials used and time spent.
- Keep tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in construction or glazing is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
- Standing bending and kneeling for extended periods.
- Working in various weather conditions.
Schedule:
7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Overtime as needed.
Benefits:
Upon completing your 60 day probation you would be eligible for full-time benefits including medical vision and dental insurance vacation time holiday pay short-term disability life insurance a 401(k) plan and more. Hourly payrate is $17.00-$18.00 per hour depending on experience.
