This role is instrumental in forging high-impact sectoral partnerships and driving initiatives that elevate Deakins national and global reputation in sport. As a key architect of the Universitys sport vision the Director plays a decisive role in aligning sport-related endeavours with institutional priorities fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and positioning Deakin as a leader in sport excellence and innovation.
Reporting into the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Partnerships The Director manages a small team of highly skilled professionals and works collaboratively with academics from all Faculties and professional staff from various Divisions.
