Job Description
Lafayette Animal Hospital is actively looking for an Experienced Veterinary Technician. We are seeking an organized compassionate and service-oriented Veterinary Technicianwho is confident in rooming patients assisting in surgery placing IV catheters drawing blood and running bloodwork has experience with x-ray and proper positioning understands the importance of client education and is a supportive and positive team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and growing andLafayette Animal Hospital encourages its staff to do the same. Sign On Bonus: $2000 (for candidates experienced in surgery)
Pay Range:$20 - $26 (based on experience)
Hours:30 - 40 hours per week
Requirements:
- 2 years in the veterinary industry (preferred)
- Experience with surgical and anesthetic cases (preferred)
- Knowledge of basic industry tools and equipment
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Believes in the importance of client education
- Compassionate toward our patients and clients
- Motivated to learn new skills
- Positive and supportive team player

About the Hospital:
Lafayette Animal Hospital is a fast-paced hybrid clinic that offers general practice services along with urgent care and emergency care for our patients. We are open from 8-6 Monday through Friday and 8-2 Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays.
