Accountant Manager (m/f/d/x)

What youll do

• Own complex areas of general ledger accounting including month-end close journal entries and key account reconciliations
• Manage intercompany processes: invoice accounting inventory recharges loan interest recharges and AP/AR reconciliations
• Oversee lease accounting (IFRS 16) and ensure accurate monthly reporting
• Support monthly and annual financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and HGB (German GAAP)
• Prepare prepayments review accruals and ensure timely submission of statutory reports (e.g. Z5 K3 to Bundesbank)
• Partner with FP&A Tax Legal Group Reporting and external auditors to ensure alignment and accuracy
• Drive continuous process improvements and contribute to special projects across accounting teams
• Analyze financial data to support decision-making using Excel/Google Sheets and tools such as Oracle Tableau or Tagetik

What youll bring

• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills across all levels; German is a nice-to-have
• A degree in Finance Accounting Economics or Business Administration; professional certifications such as CPA CIMA or ACCA are a plus
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles ideally in fast-paced international environments
• Solid understanding of financial statements (Balance Sheets P&Ls and Cash Flows) and strong working knowledge of IFRS and HGB
• Strong attention to detail highly organized and continuously striving for process and performance improvements
• Skilled in Excel or Google Sheets and experienced with standard accounting systems; ability to analyze and interpret large data sets
• Bonus points for familiarity with Oracle Tableau Workday Adaptive or Tagetik
• A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset openness to learning and a positive attitude
