Job Description
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate packaging of outbound part orders and receipt of incoming parts
- Help Part Delivery Drivers as needed with filling packaging and marking of outgoing part orders to meet delivery schedules
- Receive scan in and tag all parts including special order parts and stock inventory; making sure tocheck items for damage correct quantities or back orders
- Report any damages shortages or incorrect parts to Parts Manager
- Put away and organize all stock inventory and special order parts in assigned bin locations
- Hand out special order slips to assigned parts counter person or service advisor upon arrival
- Assist with loading and unloading parts
- Pull orders from printed packing slips for both retail customers and shop repair orders
- Handle core returns special order returns and monthly warehouse partsreturns
- Load and unload stock merchandise;replenish inventory stock parts from overstock bin locations as needed
- Maintain parts and supply inventory in an organized manner rotating or shifting stock as needed
- Organize assign and label new stock parts
- Prepare seasonal parts/accessories displays and warehouse shelves as directed
- Help with physical inventory counts and cycle counts; report discrepancies or low stock to Parts Manager
- Help with parts deliveries as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree preferred
- At least 3 months of experience or related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong communication and customer relations skills
- Excellent math and reading comprehension skills
- General understanding of various functions of a distribution center
- Ability to lift 60 lbs and work at heights of 25 feet or more
- Ability to use a forklift or willingness to be certified within 90 days of hire
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Warehouse experience and material handling equipment experience preferred
- Computer-literate with the ability to learn and become proficient in any software program
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
