JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for Hotel Valet Casino Valet and Self-Parking Operations. Assists the Director with the overall operation of the Parking Department; ensuring that the highest level of professionalism is achieved and maintained. Responsible for ensuring that the department is providing exemplary that the Valet and parking areas are achieving productivity expense and revenue targets.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assists the Director in all parking activities.

  • Ensures the supervisors and assistant manager(s) prepare work schedules prepare and maintain payroll records.

  • Monitors vehicle damage/theft complaint reports in conjunction with the Risk Management Department ensuring accurate and effective handling and initiates the investigation process.

  • Assists the team in handling guests problems/complaints in an effective courteous manner.

  • Assists the Director in formulating and administering operational and budget procedures for Transportation Department.

  • Maintains operational control over staff. Ensures the staff is trained and coordinates staff to ensure compliance with all related policies CCC and DGE regulations and court appearances.

  • Ensures transportation staff behavior and appearance are in compliance with established policy.

  • Assists the Director in Developing implementing and maintaining required internal and external reporting procedures.

  • Acts as a role model to other employees and always present oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourage others to do the same.

  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory departmental and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College or equivalent experience is required to include strong supervisory interpersonal service oriented organizational and employee motivational skills.

  • Experience in budget planning goal setting and administration is required.

  • Three years management experience is required.

  • Front Services or Guest Relations experience is preferred.

  • Must possess strong oral and written skills with good analytical ability.

  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.

  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.

PHYSICAL MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino.
  • Must be able to perform physical job duties of line employees in emergency situations.
  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest and employee conflicts.
  • Must have an understanding of the budget process.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
