Full-time Educational Assistants
East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of three (3) full-time Educational Assistants at St. Jeromes School in Vermilion Alberta.
The educational assistants will be supporting students from kindergarten to Grade 12. The following credentials/skills would be considered an asset for this position:
- Experience working with or willingness to be trained to work with children and/or youth in ECS-Grade 12.
- Experience working with or willingness to be trained to work with students with disabilities including autism spectrum disorder physical disabilities behavior challenges and academic needs.
- Experience working with or willingness to be trained to work with adaptive communication methods.
- Experience working with or willingness to be trained to work in offering personal care support.
- Capable of working in a team and collaborating with a teacher and other staff in a classroom/school environment.
