Foundation Services Coordinator (Part-time)

Position Summary
Are you a detail-oriented administrative professional who enjoys supporting mission-driven work and events The Catholic Community Foundation seeks a part-time Foundation Services Coordinator to provide vital clerical and logistical support for office operations meetings and events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a faith-filled environment. You will help ensure the smooth functioning of the Foundations daily operations and special initiatives including communications scheduling data upkeep and hospitality.
What Youll Do
Donor Support & Database Management
Maintain the Foundations database with accurate contact and demographic information including updates for deceased clergy and changes in the Catholic Directory.
Generate mail merges and prepare correspondence for Foundation communications campaigns and donor engagement.
Office & Foundation Support
Serve as the main reception point: answer incoming phone calls and greet office visitors with warmth and professionalism.
Sort open and distribute daily mail; deliver outgoing mail to the post office as needed.
Maintain the office calendar coordinating important Foundation and Archdiocesan dates.
Order purchase and maintain office supplies including letterhead envelopes stamps and printer materials from vendors.
Provide support for other Foundation activities and events as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook etc.)
Experience working with databases (Bloomerang preferred); ability to learn new systems quickly
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently
A proactive and hospitable spirit with a team-oriented mindset
Understanding of or familiarity with the Catholic Church and its mission is preferred
Flexibility to occasionally support evening or weekend events (rare)
Impeccable integrity and a positive can-do attitude
Compensation
This part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience. Work is
performed on-site at the Foundations office in Metairie LA. There is room for growth in both
compensation and scope of work based on demonstrated skills success and availability.
