Job Description

Media & Marketing Trainee

Location: Italy Milan Office

We are looking for interns to join our Media and Marketing teams in Italy for six months to help activate Dysons Media & marketing strategy within the market.

About the role
As our Media and Marketing Trainee you will support Media Manager and Category Managers. Responsibilities may include:

Media Marketing

  • Help coordinate media campaign timelines and assets (ensuring deadlines are met).
  • Assist the Media Agency while setting up or monitoring paid social and digital campaigns.
  • Collect campaign performance data for reporting and fine tuning with the Media agency.
  • Track media performance of Dyson and its competition market landscape.
  • Analyze media performance metrics (impressions reach visits clicks engagement)
  • Assist in managing Content/Media Projects & Events.
  • Assist in project/event planning.
  • Help fine tuning with Global Creative Team.
  • Gather post-event feedback and media results.

Category management

  • Support marketing plans and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives to drive sales increase market share and strengthen brand image.
  • Coordinate with external agencies on content development media merchandising and activations.
  • Monitor the Dyson customer experience across all touchpoints for brand consistency.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure marketing performance and ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal and External stakeholders (CRM Retail PR Media agency etc.) to ensure execution of 360 launch plans.

Retail Operations

  • Serve as the operational link between Media and Category
  • Manage supplier relationships and oversee invoicing.
  • Support Asset localisation and renaming

About you

  • Proficient in Italian and English (C1)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
  • Positive adaptable collaborative and resilient under stress. Team player.
  • Student specialising in Economics or marketing ideally with 6 months of experience.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines with keen attention to detail.
  • Autonomoum and results-oriented with a strong interest in Dyson.
  • Solid grasp of marketing fundamentals and proficiency in Excel PowerPoint
  • Analytical mindset comfortable with data and various software.
