Job Description
Position Overview
BayCare Medical Group is a physician-led medical group actively recruiting for a board-certified/board-eligible General Surgeonto join our General Surgery team located at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Experience is preferred but newly graduated physicians are welcome to apply. Bartow Florida is in a growing community conveniently nestled between Tampa and Orlando with a dynamic clinical team of nurses and doctors. This role is focused on covering the on-call needs of the hospital while also looking to build a general surgery practice. The right doctor will enjoy the chance to operate independently as one of two primary surgeons providing care to the community.
Our practice consists of:
- Shared call schedule of approximately 10-15 days per month
- Commencement bonus paid upon employment
- Call is based out of Bartow Regional Medical Center (88 beds)
- Modern and well-equipped community hospital with demonstrated volume
- Candidates with a minimum of three years of experience are encouraged to apply
- Excellent operating room and resources with a supportive administration
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgery.
