Overview
Join our team producing high end custom architectural lighting fixtures as a Welder.
Weld and fabricate parts for lighting fixtures in a manufacturing environment. Full time Mon-Thurs. Excellent affordable medical dental and vision coverage paid holidays and paid time off.
Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 / Hour
Qualifications
Minimum two years welding experience with a variety of different metals to include aluminum and steel.
Welding certificate preferred.
Ability to use various factory machines including grinders drill presses and sheers.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints and schematics
Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
Ability to read write and speak English fluently
Responsibilities
- Weld using MIG TIG or other welding processes.
- Use appropriate measuring instruments to the task.
- Operate hand tools.
- Meet planned work center times in ERP system.
- Blueprint reading skills and welding symbols.
- Operate a variety of machines in the factory.
- Interface with other departments to accomplish tasks.
- Communicate professionally.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Follow all applicable safety requirements to comply with regulatory agencies.
- Perform ERP transactions accurately to company policies and procedures.
