Salary 12.25 - 13.25 per hour depending on experience
Permanent - 1 full time ( 40 hours) or 2 part time (20 hours) positions available

Pebble Mill is a purpose-built home welcoming residents with a range of care needs including residential nursing and Parkinsons.
Set in the heart of Edgbaston Bupas Pebble Mill Care Home is just two miles from Birmingham city centre and a stones throw from Cannon Hill Park and its renowned Arts Centre. The BBCs fondly-remembered Pebble Mill Studio closed its doors in 2005 to make way for a family of world-class healthcare facilitieslike Pebble Mill Care Home.
With superior standards of design build and interior finish everything youll find at Bupas Pebble Mill Care Home has been made with residents in mind. From the wide and welcoming corridors and communal spaces to the wheelchair-accessible lifts and stunning interior dcor in each of the comfortable en-suite bedrooms.
Youll help us make health happen by:
- Acting as the link between the main kitchen and our residents
- Assisting the chefs to plate meals prepare food trolleys and ensure all preparation areas are kept clean and tidy
- Monitoring stock rotation complying to company policies and procedures following all mandatory COSHH and HACPP guidelines
- Assisting with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
A passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You want to deliver an excellent service at each meal and make our residents feel at home. Youll understand the importance of maintaining high standards in and around the home ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience. Working with the wider kitchen and care home teams - youre comfortable communicating with others cherishing the little moments with our residents.
