A Brief Overview
The International Engagement Coordinator enhances the international student experience by designing and delivering programs that promote belonging well-being and cross-cultural engagement within the Queens community. Through the coordination of community-building events and targeted communication strategies this role supports international and globally minded students in feeling connected supported and informed. The Coordinator leads efforts to recruit and train volunteers facilitate inclusive programming and promote QUICs services and events through digital channels such as newsletters social media and web content. Working collaboratively with QUIC and Student Affairs staff the Coordinator plays a key role in fostering an inclusive welcoming environment that supports student engagement and success.
This position acts as first point of contact for students faculty and staff who need academic resources related to student academic success. This position plans and coordinates events programs and services related to student academic success including scheduling securing venues logistics and technical support. This position coordinates event registration including updating the event registration system monitoring registration numbers and communicating with registrants. This position also coordinates the recruitment and monitoring of student volunteers.
The schedule for this position requires the incumbent to work evenings and weekends.
