We are seeking a full-time Service Assistant I at our Union Hospital - Cecil campus. This position will rotate through Patient Escort (transporting patients to/from patient care and clinical service areas as directed by dispatchers or schedulers) as well as assist in housekeeping as needed.
The work schedule for this position is 3:00pm-11:30pm and includes working every other weekend and rotating holidays.
This position is working 40 hours each week.

Education and experience requirements:
Two years of customer service.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge skill and ability requirements:
Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.
Ability to read and write at a high school level.
Ability to understand and communicate.
Ability to maintain a high degree of personal hygiene.
Ability to maintain a courteous service oriented helpful attitude throughout the workday.
Ability to work in a standing position and carry out normally assigned duties for the entire shift.
Ability to maintain confidentiality especially regarding patients.
Ability to use PDA/Smart Phones for job assignments.
