Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Functions of the Role: - Conduct thorough clinical assessments and accurately prioritize patient and family needs.
- Develop implement evaluate and adjust personalized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Build and maintain therapeutic relationships while maintaining professionalism and managing patient discomfort.
- Integrate patient values and beliefs into care planning and resolution strategies.
- Educate patients families nurses and community members to promote informed healthcare decisions.
- Regularly assess document and address the learning needs of patients and their caregivers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and the community to coordinate patient care.
- Delegate tasks safely and effectively ensuring timely follow-up.
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving strategies when working with patients families and colleagues.
- Acknowledge limitations in practice and always prioritize patient safety effectiveness and efficiency.
- Engage in teamwork recognize the contributions of others and commit to professional growth.

Key Success Factors: - Strong knowledge of nursing standards patient care procedures and state nursing regulations.
- Familiarity with hospital policies healthcare procedures and medical terminology.
- Understanding of disease prevention treatment and common medications and side effects.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal and social skills for diverse team and patient interactions.

- Basic proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office electronic medical records (EMRs) scheduling systems and secure communication.
Qualifications: - Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- Specialized field of study: Nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years of CVPCU RN experience is required.
- Active RN License in the state of Texas.
- BLS Certification (or obtained within 30 days of starting).
