Job Description
Location: Temple TX 76508
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to identify and prioritize patient and family needs.
- Develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans; revise as necessary to ensure positive patient outcomes.
- Foster therapeutic relationships through professionalism empathy and clear communication.
- Educate patients families and community members to promote informed healthcare decisions.
- Regularly assess and document learning needs to tailor education accordingly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate effective care delivery.
- Delegate nursing tasks appropriately and follow up to ensure quality care.
- Apply clinical judgment and critical thinking to solve problems and manage patient care.
- Prioritize patient safety effectiveness and efficiency in all aspects of care.
- Support team members contribute to a positive work environment and participate in professional development.
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with local and national nursing laws and healthcare guidelines.
- Proficient in medical terminology health promotion disease prevention and pharmacology.
- Adherence to nursing ethics and patient confidentiality laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse patients and teams.
- Effective critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g. Microsoft Office EMR systems email and scheduling systems).
- Graduate of an Accredited RN Program
- Minimum 1 year of ICU RN experience required
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
