Job Description
Registered Dietitian- Seattle WA This position is for 13 weeks but the intent is to find a candidate who would like to work at the facility long term as a permanent caregiver. After the 13 week contract period if both the caregiver and the facility are in agreement this has the possibility to turn into a permanent position. - Start Date: ASAP - Shift: 8hr Days (0800 - 1630) Monday - Friday (no OT no holidays no weekends) - Years of Experience REQ: 1 YR of prior experience as a clinical dietitian working with a geriatric population is preferred - First-Timers Accepted: Yes - Weekend REQ: No - Certs REQ: BLS - Is on-call REQ No - Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs No - Open to accommodating block schedule No - Locals Accepted: Yes - Pending License Accepted: No; License required upon hire (National CDR Registered Dietitian Washington Dietitian Certification) - RTO Restrictions: Confirm with hiring manager - Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off traveler up to 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks) SPECIAL NOTES - The Dietitian provides nutrition assessment counseling and planning upon inter-disciplinary team (IDT) referral for participants identified as being at nutritional risk according to established screening protocol or as ordered by physician. Monitor and document the participants response to mode of nutritional therapy used.
