Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Automation Engineer with a basic understanding of automation testing concepts and XPath. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with minimal experience who are eager to learn and grow in automation testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and implement automation testing frameworks and tools.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using XPath for web applications.
- Collaborate with the development and testing teams to understand requirements and test scenarios.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze results.
- Identify and report bugs ensuring high software quality.
- Continuously improve automation scripts and frameworks.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of XPath and its usage in locating web elements.
- Understanding of Selenium WebDriver or other automation tools (preferred).
- Familiarity with any programming language like Java Python or JavaScript (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science IT or a related field.
- Internship or academic projects in test automation are a plus.
- Basic knowledge of API testing and CI/CD pipelines (optional).
