Role Responsibilities:
- Designing comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Delivering engaging English lessons to students effectively.
- Implementing various teaching methods and instructional strategies.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assessing student performance and providing constructive feedback.
- Encouraging critical thinking and discussion among students.
- Developing students reading writing and communication skills.
- Regularly updating curriculum materials to meet educational standards.
- Collaborating with other educators to integrate cross-curricular approaches.
- Utilizing technology and digital resources to enhance learning.
- Maintaining classroom discipline and managing student behavior.
- Organizing extracurricular activities to promote English language use.
- Meeting with parents and guardians to discuss student progress.
- Conducting one-on-one tutoring sessions as needed.
- Participating in professional development opportunities to improve skills.
Qualifications:
- Master s degree in English or a related field preferred.
- Bachelor s degree in Education or relevant subject area required.
- Teaching certification for secondary education.
- Proven experience teaching English at the PGT level.
- Strong command of the English language (both spoken and written).
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to meet diverse student needs.
- Experience with assessment and evaluation techniques.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Passion for fostering a love of literature and language in students.
