Job Description
Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer
Location: 1126 West National Ave. West Terre Haute IN 47885
Pay: Competitive commensurate with education and experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. In this role youll analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency reduce costs and maintain the highest quality standards. Youll be an integral part of our operations team working hands-on with CNC machinery and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful improvements in production.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze Current Production Procedures:
Evaluate existing manufacturing workflows to identify inefficiencies in labor material usage and machinery output.Develop and Implement Process Improvements:
Design and execute plans that streamline operations enhance productivity and reduce waste. Research industry best practices and present recommendations to stakeholders.Maintain Accurate Production Documentation:
Keep machinery manuals process instructions and operational guidelines up to date. Ensure accurate documentation following any process changes.Report Performance Metrics:
Monitor results of implemented changes gather data and prepare clear reports for production managers and key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with CNC Machinery (Mills and Lathes)
Knowledge of fixture and process design machine codes and CNC programming
A strong quality-first mindset in process design and implementation
Excellent strategic planning and project management capabilities
Proven critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
2 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role preferred
