You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs the Sous Chef you will serve as the second-in-command in the Chinese kitchen and report directly to the Executive Chef. You will be expected to have a thorough understanding of all kitchen operations and be ready to take charge in the absence of the Executive Chef.
Your role requires expertise in preparing and cooking a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes such as Cantonese Sichuan and other regional specialties. You will also play a key role in supervising and developing the kitchen teamthis includes organizing schedules delivering training evaluating performance and ensuring all health safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed.
In addition you will contribute to Chinese menu planning inventory and supply management and help maintain smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Qualifications :
College degree in Hotel Management or related culinary degree
At least 3 years of industry and culinary management experience
Previous experience training team members in large quantity food preparation.
Excellent knowledge of quality food operations.
Passion for leadership and teamwork
Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence
Excellent guest service skills
