Job Description
- Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Implementation safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and internal requirements including AECOM Safety for Life Program
- Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Providing training and education to employees on safety protocols emergency response procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Investigation accidents incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop SHE Plans for offices and field projects.
- Monitor and analyze safety data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Coordinate and participate in safety committee meetings to address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies for hazardous tasks and processes.
- Recommends improvements in processes design procedures and operating equipment to minimize hazards.
- Stay updated on industry best practices regulatory changes and emerging safety technologies to ensure continuous improvement in safety programs.
- Provides regulatory interpretation and technical advice.
- Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and promote a positive Safety Culture
- Maintaining Safety and Environmental Management Systems according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
Qualifications :
- Very good knowledge of English and Polish
- Minimum 5 years experience in an independent SH&E role within an international environment including min 1 year experience on construction sites.
- Strong and up-to-date knowledge of Polish health and safety regulations with the ability to translate them into practical business solutions.
- Ability to lead and conduct training sessions.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safety protocols.
- Effective communication presentation organizational and documentation skills.
Additional Information :
- Internal Auditor of Safety and Environment Management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001) will be a plus
- Fire inspector qualification will be a plus
