Job Description
Are you a motivated and reliable owner-operator with a single-axle tractor-trailer looking for a consistent local opportunity
We are looking to hire an AZ Owner Operator for City Pickup & Delivery that has knowledge of the Barrie and its areas
This is an excellent opportunity to partner with a stable and expanding organization where your hard work and commitment are recognized and rewarded.
- Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight within the Barrie service area while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Efficiently and safely picking up and delivering LTL freight
- Must prioritize all shipments in order to make all-time critical commitments and Rock Solid deliveries
- Working as a team with dispatcher and dock personnel to ensure all freight is delivered on time
- Responsible to load / unload your own truck
- Minimum Wage $40.00/hour roughly 10 hours a day.
- Incentive base environment and could potential earn more than $40.00/hour
- Must have truck available everyday for work assignment
- Maintaining a strong focus on providing excellent customer service
Qualifications :
- AZ license (clean abstract)
- Single Axel tractor is preferred but will consider a tandem tractor
- Must own Newer Equipment 2017 or newer
- Must have WSIB Coverage
- 1 year of experience
- Reliable and dependable
- TDG WHMIS and Forklift experience is an asset but willing to train
- Must be able to provide a criminal record check drivers abstract and 3 work-related references.
