Job Description
- Determines the nature of the clients situation by interviewing clients assessing medical psychological emotional and social information and making on-site home visits.
- Establishes a course of action by exploring options and setting goals with the client.
- Obtains assistance for the client by referring him/her to community resources arranging for appointments and establishing rapport with other agencies.
- Fosters clients action or adjustment by interpreting attitudes and patterns of behavior explaining and suggesting new options.
- Maintains records of the case by documenting the clients situation and the clients actions.
- Monitors planned actions by periodic follow-up.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures participating in quality reviews and reporting needed changes.
- Complies with federal state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
- Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Develops a deep understanding of the Central Valleys community resources and public/private providers of support services that could benefit our population
- Devises creative ways to engage a population that has had limited or no access to social services in the past
- Maintain a flexible schedule to provide services to parents during late afternoon or evening hours if they are not available during business hours.
Qualifications :
- Minimum bachelors degree in Social Work
- MSW preferred
- PPS credential required
- LCSW preferred but not required
- At least two years of experience practicing social work in Californias Central Valley preferred
- Written and verbal fluency in Spanish required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills outstanding listening skills
- Knowledge of local social service agencies state regulations and APA standards
- Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to our organizations mission and educational philosophy
- Passion for working with traditionally underserved communities
Pay Range: $88826.00 - $127363.04. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
