Job Description
- Work hands-on as part of a team to deliver efficient 5-star service.
- Perform basic day-to-day food and beverage service tasks.
- Open and close the restaurant or outlet as required.
- Pack in and out for events as needed.
- Take customer orders and maximise sales opportunities through product knowledge and suggestive selling.
- Ensure the correct use of the POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Check ordered meals upon collection from the kitchen and deliver them promptly to guests maintaining their temperature and appearance. Ensure items are announced when served at the table.
- Provide the highest standard of service to guests.
- Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy following procedure manuals.
- Take responsibility for your designated section and station.
- Maintain clean and organised side stations daily.
- Maintain working knowledge of beverages offered including preparation and service methods.
- Adhere to hygienic food service techniques during service.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in Barista and Caf style service
- Use of Micros is a bonus
- Strong presentation and organisation skills
- Ability to work in the fast paced environment and be proactive
- Positive bubbly personality
- Previous experience within a high paced/luxury environment is highly advantageous but not required
- You understand the nature of the business and can work on a rotating roster basis including weekends and public holidays
