Job Description
Electric Motor Mechanic
Terre Haute IN
must be a US Citizen or GCH.
1st Shift
Location: Terre Haute IN
Job Summary:
- Diagnose disassemble repair and test a variety of electrical/mechanical equipment (AC/DC motors generators pumps gearboxes etc.)
- Utilize tools such as multimeters high-pot testers growlers micrometers and calipers for accurate diagnostics and measurement
- Conduct failure analysis document findings and follow proper procedures for part identification and reassembly
- Perform in-house and on-site repairs; follow OEM EASA and customer specifications
- Maintain accurate records of testing troubleshooting and final quality checks
- Requires 13 years of experience or relevant training (EASA/military)
- Strong skills in diagnostics repair and mechanical/electrical safety practices at a skilled trades level
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities: (Companies ATS Questions):
1. Do you have Industrial Electric Motor Experience (not automotive motors)
2. Do you have Motor Mechanic Experience
3. Do you have Motor Mechanic Experience Winding experience - preferred
4. Do you have 9001 - preferred
5. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
